Overstake has had a stellar season and winning the season long North American (NorAm) Cup overall title, with podium results in seven of the eight NorAm Cup races, including two wins, one in parallel slalom in Toronto on February 6 and one in parallel giant slalom in Val Saint Come on January 3. Overstake also recently earned his first individual parallel giant slalom World Cup points, placing 26th at the World Cup in Val Saint Come Quebec, on February 16 to add to the points he earned with a 19th place finish at the World Cup in the parallel slalom team event in Bad Gastein Austria on January 14. This is Overstake’s third year qualifying for Junior World Championships. Carpenter also had two podium finishes on the NorAm Cup in Steamboat in January. It is also Carpenter’s third time qualifying for Junior Worlds.

Overstake brought home a silver medal for Team USA in last year’s Snowboard Alpine Junior World Championships in the mixed team parallel slalom.
